Mission
The mission of Academies of the Antelope Valley School Counseling Department is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to address students' academic achievement, college/career goals, and social/emotional needs. This is achieved through a collaborative partnership with parents/guardians, staff, and community members in order to empower all students to become successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.
Vision
The Academies of the Antelope Valley School Counseling Department believes that every student can succeed. In order to empower all students to reach their maximum potential we will implement a comprehensive program that addresses academic, personal/social, and career goals. With the collaborative efforts of school, home, and community, we will support in preparing every student for 21st century college and career expectations by providing an environment that encourages personal inquiry and growth, social responsibility, and academic excellence.
